Importance of Namaz

Being a Muslim Namaz is obligatory to all of us.We can't ignore it's importance.According to our Holy Prophet(P.B.U.H) Namaz is the only thing that differentiate between a Muslim and a non-Muslim.Namaz is the direct contact with Allah .In Quran allah says" You shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and bow down with those who bow down."

A Muslim who offers Namaz five times a day saves himself from all kind of sins.Namaz also gives us the lesson of punctuality,because every Namaz has it's unique time of offering,so it also makes a Muslim punctual.Namaz also teaches us unity because in Masjid anyone can stand in any row whether he is rich or poor it does'nt matter and every Muslim perform namaz wih unity.
