PAKISTAN  RAILWAY

Pakistan railway is under the control of  federal government of Pakistan.Railway network have 7791 km  route and 559 stations.Today .Pakistan railway faced many problems.A shortage of  locomatives has compelled Pakistan railway to suspend  its passenger trains.Pakistan railway faced challenges in clear arrears of  Pakistan state oil for fuel supply and also faced challenges  in paying salaries of its staff  and pension.in recently  due to failure in paying salaries and pension Pakistan railway faced countrywide protest.Railway is suffering huge  losses for maintaining  unremunerative   lines.The industrial unit of railway are running at loss.The operational efficiency of railway is very weak.Efficiency of  railway requires improvement by better management and operational techniques.
