Now-a-days almost every thing of our daily use is effort less either it is a electric toaster, a washing machine,vacuum cleaner or a bus etc. All these things are making us lazy. Just a example in old days there were no buses, no washing machine and unfortunately no vaccum cleaner. So what, wasn't they survive? No they survive but also lived their life happily. There was a day when their was no bus so people just walk and do a effort and cover any distance either it is big or small.It is good to be technologize but also do some little effort in doing small and handy works.

ReplyDeleteIt seems as if you are fed up with technology. Why don't you just take it as one of the blessings of Allah for us as it helps us solving our day to day problems in relatively better way.
Efforts are required even today for almost all of the tasks to accomplish. Nothing can be performed without efforts. But the nature of effort has got changed with the passage of time. For example, Performing of HAJ was difficult in past and in modern world it is cannot regarded an effortless activity. The hardship of past were according the demands of that time. On the other hand, the trouble of today are also of very it own kind.
I think, instead of comparing present world with past, a better idea would be to look at things as a whole in their respective times.
