CURRENT SITUATION OF KARACHI CITY

  Karachi was once called the city of lights,as we have heard it from our elders.but for the last few years the situation is totally different.In fact it has become the city of darkness.The situation of Karachi is getting worse everyday.

   Although there are many problems ,but i am going to discuss some of them.One of the major problem is of load shedding.In most of the areas there is load shedding of about 6 to 8 hours.The other problem is traffic problem.the citizens of Karachi gets stuck in traffic jams every day.the number of road accidents has also increased.The reason for that problem is worst condition of roads.Most of the traffic signals doesn't works properly.Mobile and money snatching is also increasing.Citizens of Karachi are afraid of getting out of their houses taking precious mobiles or big amount with them.there is also a new form crime known as target killing.Target killers are spreding all over the city and killing innocent people.There is not even a day in Karachi when no one is killed.The recent bomb blast in Abbas town has shown that the people are not even safe in their houses.Due to this situation there is strike almost every week in the city.

   On the whole i can say that the Government has failed to give security to the citizens of Karachi.In addition to that it is not only the responsibility of the Government,the citizens should also realize their responsibility.Because most of the citizens violate rules freely,and if police tries to arrest them they gives bribes to them and gets free.Because i believe that if every individual will try to become a good citizen the situation of Karachi will be changed,and Karachi will Inshallah become peaceful again.
